Why do some moths have four eyes?
When it is resting on the forest floor, in South America, the wild silk moth is perfectly camouflaged to look like a leaf. But if a lizard or bird tries to have a closer look, the moth flashes the huge, staring eyespots on its back wings, to frighten it away.
