DID YOU KNOW?
Your skin is covered in a film of oil, called sebum. It is made by glands at the base of each hair. It keeps your skin supple and waterproof. If you stay in water too long, the skin on your fingers and toes may wrinkle up. This is because no sebum is made here, so the skin is not waterproofed. It soaks up water, swells and becomes wrinkly.
