Air goes in through your nose, then down your trachea (windpipe), then down two tubes, called bronchi, into your lungs. The bronchi branch into tubes which end in air sacs (alveoli), which are covered in blood vessels. Oxygen seeps from the sacs into the blood and is carried around your body to your cells.
