Excuse fingers
The aye-aye, a rare lemur in Madagascar, has long, thin middle fingers. It eats wood-boring insects. To catch them, the aye-aye knocks on the tree bark, listens for the insects to move, pokes its skewer-like finger inside and pulls them out.
