Mouse house
A harvest mouse builds its nest among tall grasses. Large nests are about the size and shape of cricket balls. The mouse splits blades of grass into thin strips with its teeth and weaves them into a framework. The blades are still joined to the stalks so the nest is firmly wedged. The framework is padded out with more grass, feathers and even pieces of string.
