High home
The highest-living mammal is the wild yak of Tibet and China. It can climb to heights of over 6,000 m (20,000 ft) in search of food. Its long, thick blackish coat protects it from the biting cold. People in Nepal keep domestic yaks for milk, wool and dung for fuel.
